Orihuela begins the renovation of the Cabo Roig seafront with an investment of 461,000 euros

The City Council announced the start of the long-awaited remodeling works on the Cabo Roig pedestrian walkway. The councilor indicated that the works will extend from La Caleta beach to Cala Capitán with an investment of 461,000 euros. Since the promenade was built, no action has been taken to renovate it, and improve both safety and accessibility - now ramps for people with reduced mobility and drains for rain will be built. The action, with an execution period of four months, consists of the adaptation of the wall along the two kilometers that connect the two beaches, the placement of a wooden railing to guarantee the safety of pedestrians and the repair of the pavement in those sections where it is in poor condition. The promenade will have lighting integrated into the wall itself to allow its passage safely and avoid light pollution. This action also includes the remodeling of the five viewpoints that Cabo Roig has.
